Find a Surface that you LOVE…
One of the best pieces of advice I share with my Chalk Couture customers is this…. Find a few surfaces that you LOVE, and stick with them! The beauty of Chalk Couture is that you can CHANGE your mind often! I have this super cute Aiden chalkboard with both Black and White frames. I love the size and it is truly a favorite in our home! The most popular size of our reusable transfers is this 9×12 size. SOOO many of our fun designs fit on this very chalkboard. I update these boards every season and just love how they work with all types of decor!
Work with what you have…
By now you know how I love working with “random” finds. This super cute little “pocket” was a boring wood piece that I snagged while thrifting a while back. But I saw the potential!
After sanding, I gave it a quick coat of Stella’s paint purchased from my friend over at Becky’s Refurbs, then a coat of Chalk Couture Surface Wax, and a cute design from the new French Country minis transfer! Quick and easy update!
